Kraansvlak contributes to conservation European bison

This year four bison calves have been born in Kraansvlak, a coastal dune area that is part of Zuid-Kennemerland National Park. Including the new-borns, the herd counts 26 bison. The past ten years in total 33 calves have been born in the bison project of PWN and ARK Nature.

International attention bison project

The past months our bison project in Kraansvlak received attention from several international media. Since the start of the project in 2007 sharing our experiences has been an important goal. This is being done using many ways.
